Lovely site, warm friendly welcome on arrival. Peaceful site situated next to Longleat Safari Park. Peaceful location green fields as far as you can see. When the site is full insufficient toilet facilities, this is the only CC site I have had to queue to use the facilities. TV reception poor, however you can hook up to the bollard, satellite reception is also poor choose your pitch carefully if you have a dish on the roof. Chippy van on Friday, however only French fries served not your proper chips. Site is accessed by a long winding lane with blind bends, from the A36, watch for large pot holes at the road sides, the locals drive rather fast though lanes, beware. Longleat is well worth a visit. Small play area for young children, but does have a bigger ball games area for older children, with family games room. No local shop but supermarkets within 15 minutes drive Would visit again if in the area.
