Visited this site for a 2 night stay (it's not far from where we live) in May. The site is well kept, and the toilet/shower blocks are clean - as per usual for a CC site. Useful to know that they only clean 1 block at a time so there is always 1 available. We didn't visit the safari park as we took our dog, but we went on a really good walk to Heaven's Gate (sculptures in the Longleat Estate with good views over the estate, plus you can see some of the animals enroute), and then on to Shearwater Lake, where ther's a nice little tea shop. They have photocopies of the route in Reception and it's worth asking. We'll certainly return for further weekend breaks. Oh yes, you can hear the lions at night as well as the sea lions.
