Good for families

Excellent site

Having toured Wales we stayed here on our way home and was pleasantly surprised how good this site was given some of the poor reviews. All I can think is just reviews were written by "traditional" caravanners as this site takes things to a new modern level. The check in was easy and quick. The toilet block is large and modern with huge showers. Yes the water is discharged into a drain behind you, big deal! These are not a long walk from touring pitches. The coffee shop is great and the area around the pool area wonderful. Free gym on site to use if you wish. Fishing, canoeing, archery, dog exercise area & agility park, hot tubs, hot springs and a small beach. This is a site definitely aimed at families and maybe therefore it gets poor reviews from those who prefer adult only? No kids here for our stay but it wouldn't have bothered us in the slightest had it been full of youngsters having fun. The only downside for us was there wasn't really any dog walks from site without walking down main roads. You can spend 30 pleasant minutes walking around the site though. Finally, I have read about high charges? We paid £30 per night for a fully serviced pitch with a nice view. These days we pay more than that on the majority of the club sites that don't offer anything like the facilities Love2stay offer.
