We have a small motorhome and used plot 59. Nice and private. Site peaceful. Top level of site not well set out but rest of site good. Can’t comment on facilities as we always use our motorhome and stay self contained but they appeared well kept. Small reception with milk and some essentials and a fridge filled full of ice creams and ice lolly’s.😋 Just off the entrance to site is Harmby waterfall well worth a look. And also a pub opposite. Also a quiet road for a good long walk with your dog. ( turn left on road between quarries) 1 mile walk to Leyburn and the Leyburn Shawl ( just behind the small square) is well worth visiting just for the view, or can be the start of a good circular walk through Wensley. About 8 mile walk. Nice peaceful site will stay again but longer than just one night next time. Staff very friendly. Unfortunately we didn’t get to see Gerald the resident peacock though we did hear him. Hope to see him next time. Thanks for a lovely stay albeit too short.
