This is an excellent site, the facilities are first class and the wardens were very friendly and helpful, we were made to feel very welcome. It is very close to the Granite Way cycle trail, which is a good way to visit Okehampton and is about a eight mile fairly easy cycle. The pub in the village is a good place to enjoy a good pint and a good meal and the village church is very old and well worth a visit as is Lydford Gorge. there is also a bus stop in the village for the less energetic of us. All in all a great sit to visit and relax and wind down, or to walk or cycle, will definatel;y visit again.
