A firm favourite of ours for visiting in August, very peaceful and friendly site. The wardens are fantastic and extremely helpful. We stayed last weekend and unfortunately one of our dogs was poorly, the warden took us to the local vet and we got it sorted, our peaceful bank holiday weekend was saved, many thanks. The village of Lydford is tranquil and beautiful, pub is great and has a great beer garden and there is a farm shop which sells great produce. Granite way is very close so good for cyclists and lots of good walks from the site.
