Stayed a week from end of August until 3rd Sept.  Wardens very efficient and helpful, very peaceful site in local non tourist village.  Excellent meals in the Castle, proper local pub and only 10 minute walk.  Glad we booked as very popular.   We were lucky to be able to access the site wifi from our pitch and had good service all week.  Toilets clean if not fancy. About 30 miles to Bude on north coast and Plymouth south so good central location for days out.  Would definitely go again.  As with most sites on the network, this one suffers from early arrivers, and there really is no room at the entrance to wait so wardens have to accept them.  We waited in a lay by until the right time, turns out we were 6th to check in! Obviously they may not be members as this is an AS.
