We have just come back from this site having spent 2 nights there. We had a lovely time, the weather was gorgeous and the site lovely. The toilets are clean and tidy and located centrally. The pitches are all hard standing and mainly level with a few exceptions. It was quite busy for the time of year but everyone was friendly and happy to chat. It is close to the road so expect some noise during the day but it was quiet at night. We didn't really notice it though. We had a lovely welcome from a friendly warden. I would recommend this site.
Evacuation due to heavy rain
Wow, what a stay we had. Arrived a little late but had a very warm welcome by the warden. Got our motorhome ready and had a cosy evening inside, while it was raining badly outside. At 23.30h the wardens came to inform everyone that they would recommend to leave the Site and go to the Clachan Campsite 1 mile up the road. The river was eventually going to flood the Site. So we left and stayed the night at the Clachan Site. The "evacuation" was very professionally organised and the wardens very great in handling the situation. Both Sites are very nicely situated, wardens are great and we would come back anytime.

Long weekend stay
Road noise was a problem during our 4 night stay. Not the most young family friendly site stipulating no ball games etc. Also speeding drivers/motor-homes oblivious of 5mph limit. Otherwise pleasant enough stay, great scenery and good eateries close by.

A Highland Gem
An all-round excellent site. Friendly staff. Facilities are clean and more than adequate.Location is awesome with beautiful scenery. Great variety of outdoor facilities with so much to do for all ages. Killing provides excellent choice of eating out options. Will definitely return.
Autumn Glory
A big thank you, yet again, to the wonderful wardens at Killin. The site looked immaculate and the welcome was warm. If you get the chance go and visit before the site closes in November. The forests are at their glorious best in vibrant Autumn colour, a great time to visit Killin.

Golfers Paridise!!
Site located close to Killin, short walk into town. Plenty to see if you love walking, the locks close bye, etc: doctors surgery close by, as my wife was not well? Plus a nine/ eighteen hole golf course five minutes walk from site. Great course, very chalenging, lovely people.
We loved the site & sorry too leave after three days.
First time mobile motor homeer.
Love this site
A super location, very handy for the town, for walks, for fishing and for pubs. The Glen Lochay hotel does great meals and will take to dog in the bar, what more could you want.
Scenic views
We stayed 3 nights here for the first time mid September. Good clean facilities, wardens friendly. The village is about 10 minutes away with all the shops etc that you need. There is a dog friendly pub just over the road with very pleasant landlord and locals, food good too. Lots of good walks from the site, great views and river activities to if you want.
We will certainly like to visit again when in that area.
Favorite site
Have been staying at this site at least 3 times a year for three years and never had any reason to complain. The wardens are always very friendly and the site is a credit to them. R.Morgan
