we stayed 3 nights here in order to visit Lands End and St Micheals Mount. The staff were so lovely, very welcoming and easy going. The site was really well kept. we were able to select our own pitch. the site is next to Friendly Forest which has loads of pathways to explore, great for kids and adults alike. We managed to walk to St Michaels Mount from the site with our young family, the lanes are really quiet so was pretty safe, and at just 2 miles away our 6 year old managed it (while picking blackberries the whole way). We had forgotten our deck of cards and one of the staff gave us an old deck they had, how amazingly kind (there was one missing but we just made it from the box - haha).
