Quiet site (almost)
Lovely site and will visit again. However, as we were there late December wthere were few walks from the site. A drive to Arnside was well worth it and there is always Grange within easy driving distance.
Two problems - central heating in shower block wasn't working (not good in December) and we were pitched (Pitch 15) near an electricity sub-satation the roof of which sounded like a bass drum as rain fell on it! Most disturbing.
We'll definitely come back, but probably when it's not raining.
