Nice clean site, well maintained and the shower facilities etc were very clean. I spent the previous 10 days Wainwright bashing and cycling around Derwent water so was looking forward to the 'Flat' cycling however apart from a little around the site which itself is on a hill and Grange Sands promenade all I found was hills! I'm from Norfolk so I know what flat is. Walkers paradise refers to the general Lakes area, not around this site as only 3 little 1 mile there and back walks were offered to me. Other than that I enjoyed my visit but doubt I'll return.
