Wonderful Rest

Having read some of the reviews previously posted about the pitches etc. we were unsure about this site. We can only assume these reviewers have got confused with another site! It was wonderful. The wardens were welcoming and we could engage in a bit of banter the moment we arrived. They were always on hand if required but kept a low profile (unlike a couple of Derbyshire sites we visited last year) and kept the site immaculate from the toilet blocks to the well spaced, ample sized pitches. We too suffered the wrath of the traffic lights which always seemed to go red as we approached but we were on holiday so who cares? There are beautiful scenic walks around the Roseland to be taken and with St. Mawes on your doorstep and the lovely harbour at Mevagissey only 30 mins away as well as Looe and Falmouth there's plenty to enjoy. If you want peace and quiet this site is ideal- school summer holidays might be a bit livelier but our 10 days over Easter was perfect. Many thanks to Mike, Mandy, Bill & Carole.
