Nice small site

A small site set on two levels. Mostly surrounded by tall trees so pick your pitch carefully if you want to maximise the sun. Just off the main road but the road noise was hardly noticeable. Lovely walk up through the woods to Dunster but it's a bit tough at the start, also a nice level walk along the coast path to the cafe at Blue Anchor and a taxi back (£11). Minehead itself is a bit 'tired' and doesn't really have much to recommend it, apart from the great chippy next to the co-op just along from the site. Couldn't find a decent pub nearby. Covid rules here were fine, not intrusive and those that are worried about it would no doubt feel safe. Having two separate individual toilets was great as it meant you didn't have to wait to use the loo whilst two people were taking showers.
