Good for families

For a quiet break in the middle of the Hereford countryside, this may be the perfect site!

The purpose of our visit was to explore the Hereford Black and White villages. The sight is ideal for this. There are not many footpaths in this area but the B roads are tiny and whilst not very good for heavy traffic they are great for cycling or walking. We cycled to four of the villages. We started at Weobley, then on to Eardisland, Pembridge and Lyonshall. The villages feel like film sets even though they are very much working villages. Locals were very welcoming which made for a lovely day. We also stopped off at a Cider orchard and tried the local produce!! The site would also be great if you were planning a quiet relaxing break it is a beautiful area and with some warm sunshine it would be difficult to want to do anything at all. As always the wardens are doing a great job and the site is a credit to them. For a quiet break in the middle of the Hereford countryside, this may be the perfect site!
