Lovely

Fantastic site, first time there but definitely not our last. Clean and quiet, great dog walking area.  Nice and close to the local village.

Great all round site.

This is a great site to round off our brief tour of the South West. A large site which was still busy midweek, but if you choose your pitch carefully you will have plenty of space around you, I guess in the summer it could feel somewhat crowded but not for us, Plenty of on site activities for children and for those of you that have dogs, plenty of walking too. Nice little town of Moreton just a few minutes stroll away from the site, torches needed after dark though. All in all a lovely place to spend a few days whatever the weather.

The Battrick's short break

We had a very enjoyable five day stay here.  Even in November the site was excellent, with very clean washrooms and extremely helpful staff.  Our pitch was adequately sized and very well maintained.  It is just a few minutes walk from Moreton; a very pleasing town with full facilities.  We will return.

Moreton - Nov 15

We found the site  to be well maintained with no access problems. The wardens are very friendly & pleasant. It is a 5 minute walk to Moreton in Marsh. Most of the pitches are hard standings although we did think they are closer together than most sites. The only issue for us was that both toilet blocks are closed daily from 2 - 4pm. This seems unnecessary.... and as we returned cold & wet from a long walk at 3.15 we really wanted to use the showers but were unable to do so. Overall a nice site.

Short Half Term break

Arrived on site in the dark (5.30pm). Pitches in places are incredibly cramped and because the pitch is not wide enough for car, caravan and awning cars tend to be parked anywhere there is a gap making the site seem cluttered. My caravan developed a fault with the charger and the wardens really were superb, couldn't be more helpful. All in all, cluttered site, lots of road noise but really well positioned to walk into the town.

October Half Term Break

We arrived to the site to find that for some reason our booking was for Cirencester (2 bookings so definitely a blip) not here, a computer blip as I have an email confirming my booking here. The lovely warden was so welcoming and helpful and assured us that there was space for us and that she would cancel the Cirencester for us.  Such a different experience to our stay a few years ago when the wardens were far less helpful and friendly.  Many thanks for being so welcoming, helpful and happy.  We all had a lovely, relaxing stay. Our only small issue was that the showers weren't very warm.

Lovely Location

This is a lovely site. The town is a short walk away. Buses to many Cotswolds villages and further a field towns. The wardens very friendly and helpful. The only downside to our visit was a dog barking waking us at 7.15 a.m. every morning and barking when we were around the site. In fact someone else on an earlier review has mentioned pitch 37 and we were in that area. I do feel that the wardens not only on this site but all sites should ask the irresponsible dog owners to leave the site. It is not fair to responsible dog owners and non dog owners!

Beautiful Cotswolds

Very well looked after site, spotlessly clean and maintained to a high standard; plus an excellent playground for the little ones (well away from the pitches so the children could enjoy themselves without bothering others). We asked to stay another night (it was half term and completely full) and the friendly and helpful staff couldn’t have been more helpful, informing us when there was luckily an unexpected, short notice cancellation. A lovely site with a delightful and nearby small town, surrounded by the beautiful Cotswolds countryside.

Great stay (again)

This is a lovely site we booked for one night 27/10/15 as a stopover when returning from London and enjoyed it so much we stayed for two. There is a lovely play area for the children and a big field for our dog. The wardens were very helpful and friendly and the facilities were immaculate. The town is only five minutes walk away and we can recommend 'Tilleys' Tea room dogs are welcome and the food is wonderful. The only downside to our stay was the irresponsible dog owners on pitch 37 who went out and left their dog alone all day, it never stopped barking the whole time causing a lot of concern from neighbouring campers. We will definitely be back (probably next week if the grandchildren will let us).
