My husband and I have just returned from a week at this site. The location is lovely although the road from Stranraer to the site is quite bumpy. The site is quite large but subdivided with bushes. We found that the pitches were quite uneven and it was difficult to work out where one started and another ended. The band system in the toilet blocks is definitely not robust. I understand what they are trying to do but perhaps having 2 toilet hooks, 2 shower hooks and 2 sink hooks may be a more practical approach and still allow 2 meter distancing. It does rely on the person remembering to take their band and on a few occasions they had been left behind and I had to go in after waiting quite a while. I would also recommend hand sanitiser being available in the toilet blocks and at the bin/water areas too. Lovely area but not sure I would choose to return to.
