We came to this site when we had just started caravanning about 11 years ago. In fact it was our first trip out with a van. Since then we have been twice more, the latest being September 2020. The thing we have noticed is that the site has become much busier. The first night we were there, it was full. The way the site has grown and been laid out it feels very crowded with little privacy. Although when we were there the site itself was not noisy, there was aircraft noise (unavoidable) and garden machinery most days (the site size must mean there is always something going on). The team of wardens were as friendly as ever and the toilet blocks and grounds were always clean and in good order. There were clear Covid19 protocols in place and definite evidence of extra cleaning and safety. Would we come again? That is hard. For us, the negatives probably outweigh the positives when there are other good sites and CLs in the area. If there was nothing else for the dates we want, then we would come back. Nothing against the site or staff, it is just not the kind of size we like.
