So much space

Wonderful wardens, very friendly and helpful. This site is so spacious, with its open aspect and large pitches. We hired a boat for the day from Ludham Bridge, there is a 10% discount for CC members, so in low season it cost £77 for the day 0900 -1700. There was plenty time to go to Sutton and then to Neatishead, where we moored and had lunch at the White Horse pub, which can be recommended for quality food at reasonable prices. In the afternoon there was time to come back and up the next Broad to Horning. An excellent day out.  The Radar Museum is also worth a visit, with many volunteers who worked there, on hand to answer questions. A trip to Norwich is a must, there are many back lane shops to explore including Colmans mustard shop and museum, but we didn't have time to visit the castle. There is also the airport aviation museum, which is small but does have a Vulcan Bomber, which is very impressive. There are also a couple of stately homes within 20 miles of the site. Although we stayed a week we didn't have time to see everything, so will definitely return.
