Visited this site many times in the past but felt standards had dropped this year not with the site itself but with the regards to the pitching of caravans and motorhomes. Caravans and motorhomes were allowed to go on pitches forward causing doors to be face to face. We were on a large corner pitch 7 we had 2 lots of neighbours in motorhomes both went on the wrong way and the second set found it acceptable to use our pitch as there dog walk after erecting a large wind break half way across our pitch to keep the dog in we found this totally unacceptable we were going to extend our stay but decided to move as we felt we had no privacy as we were sharing a pitch.

Whilst the using your pitch as a walk through may well be wrong, there is no right way in for pitches. If you read the site leaflet it tells you that pitching forward or backwards is fine.

Depending on the view, many motorhomes go in forward because they tend to be front heavy and so it helps with levelling.
