We've just got back from our first visit to this site. It is easy to get to and is ideally based for visiting Oban, the islands and up towards Fort William and the Highlands.
The staff were really helpful on arrival and show you to your pitch and explain where all the facilities are. There is a small shop on site. Due to the current COVID situation the wash facilities were closed, but this was explained at the time of booking so was not a concern. There are lots of water points throughout the site.
The site is open with fantastic views across the water to the Isle of Mull, the coastline and Lismore island. It was lovely watching the boats and ferries heading out of Oban, and fantastic sunsets. We asked for a lochside pitch and this was provided. The site is on a slight slope so even if you are pitched at the back you should have good views.
Even thought the site is large, we found it to be quiet with not alot of traffic movement.
The airport adjacent to the site is extremely quiet - you wouldn't really know it was there.
Overall, we really enjoyed our stay here - it is a great location being close to Oban for shopping facilities and the ferries to Mull and Kerrara. Lots of walking routes around the area and lovely scenery.
