Beautiful Views

We have just returned from this site having spent Spring break there. This is one of the best views I have ever had in a Caravan!. Beautiful Sunsets ( nice for time lapse photography! ), and a great view of the Isle of Mull. The only downside to being this close to the coast is the is generally always a sea breeze, if you like to sit out you'll need a wind break, likewise for the BBQ.  The facilities are clean and modern. The toilet blocks can be a hike if you are out on the extremities of the site, and toilet emptying point, so be prepared for this.... Walk if it's nice, car if it's raining. The staff are friendly, you are allocated and escorted to your pitch by the warden vehicle. The shop is very well stocked.  Location wise, you are 15 mins from Oban with access to ferries to Mull and other isles, it's on the main road between Oban and Fort William so no nasty narrow lanes to negotiate on approach. The Sealife centre is 10 mins away and worth spending a couple of hours at, it isn't Seaworld Florida though so set your expectations accordingly. Neighbouring Benderloch village has a lovely little Fish n Chip shop so if you don't want to go far for eats then this is convenient. You are next to the airport... Well, airfield. This isn't much of an inconvenience as it is busiest on a weekend, first flight I heard was 8.50am, we spent a week there and saw approx 15 flights in and out.  Lastly, take your national trust card or English heritage card with you. The Scottish versions of these have a deal with them and you can free entry to castles etc.
