We have been to this site many times because of its beautiful location. However, the site lacks the efficiency of other Caravan and Motorhome Club sites. To book a pitch you have to phone the site and pay a £10 deposit. The allocation on site is time consuming because one of the wardens has to escort you to your pitch. If you are unlucky, your pitch is half a mile away from a toilet block. The main toilet block is new but has some design flaws. For example, the ventilation is so poor that it gets foggy even when only a couple of showers are in use. The showers are spacious and use electronic on/off and red/blue temperature controls. There is a well-stocked shop. TV reception is good. The site has no WiFi which is more or less essential these days.
