We visited Nunnykirk on a rainy, windy and unpleasant day to say the least. The site despite being waterlogged in many areas was still open and the wardens smiling. We were given the safest pitch for our motorhome and pulled up and parked. We had a peaceful night spent mainly looking up at the stars... the peace of the site and the night sky make this site worth a visit. We did get stuck on our pitch so thanks to the Caravan Club member who came to our rescue and towed us off; we are very grateful. We will be back when the weather is better.
