I stayed here in July 2022 for the first time. I love these minimum facilities sites as I use my own on board facilities anyway and the saving is substantial. The site is beautifully kept and well laid out. The location is superb, a very quiet area with places to visit within easy travelling distance - don't miss Cragside ! The roads around the site are very quiet but beware when towing as the roads are quite bumpy. As a solo caravanner the cost of my stay was no more than a CL which I consider great value for money. I will certainly return when I next travel north.
