Grey seals at the Lighthouse
Our first visit to Old Hartley and what a lovely site it is. Entrance is unsigned but yes it really is that tarmac track in front of the Delaval Arms pub (the pub can be described as unpretentious, take that as you will). Lovely walks from site on the coastal path. Bird and seal watching at the lighthouse, great rock pooling on the beach. Super views and the sound of the sea, loved it. (And we came through the Tyne Tunnel, bonus!).
