We have been visiting Old Hartley every year since 2010 (sometimes twice a year) and it never fails to please.  Walk, cycle or run in any direction, excellent eating places within walking distance and the views are simply stunning. The sea view is an ever changing picture and to watch the causeway to St Mary's Lighthouse cover or uncover at high or low tide is  picture to behold.   I would recommend the Kings Arms for an evening meal or the Harbour Cafe for fish and chips and don't forget the Delaval Arms (100 yds away) for a pint of real ale or some home cooking.  This site has it all!
