Nice and peaceful

Our second visit here, although it's 18 years since our first! Nice site with fantastic views from most pitches, most of which require a lot of levelling up. Facilities a little bit dated but very clean and well maintained, only three toilets and showers in the gents but i didn't have to queue at all and the site was full for all of our stay. Friendly staff, although we only met the gentleman warden on checking in and had no further reason to contact them. Plenty of walks nearby and a bus stop less than five minutes walk from the site which we used quite a lot ( £3.90 each to ride all day between Newcastle and Blyth). The Delaval Arms at the site entrance serves great food and a good selection of drinks including real ales and cider's, or you can walk to Seaton Sluice in ten minutes, three pub's and social club, a co-op and a fish and chip shop. All in all, a nice site in a lovely location and we can't wait to go back.
