Pandy Weekend

Small site just off the A465, close to Abergavenny and the stunning surrounding scenery in the Black Mountains and Brecon Beacons.. Wardens extremely welcoming and friendly. Pub next door, but we have used another pub just up the road, at Longtown (The Crown) which serves excellent beer and home cooked food. The Sunday lunch there is up with the best we have had. There is a railway line right next to the site and trains run throughout the night, including some rattly old goods trains, but you soon adapt to this. Some pitches are on the small side, and if you plan to put an awning up, it is advisable to pitch towards the back of the pitch, so you have room to park at the front of your outfit. Toilet block immaculately clean, with powerful hot showers. No sign of a play area, so if you have kits, they will need to bring their own fun. All in all a lovely relaxing weekend with some fabulous walks nearby.
