It just goes to show ,how sound affects some people? ,years ago I lived next to the East Coast main line and the times I could not sleep was over the Xmas period when the train were NOT running

If you click on the map link on the website, just above the prices, after giving a suggested route it says, "Please note, a railway line runs adjacent to the site and main line trains do run through the night. On occasions steam trains pass and cause great interest." Even the freight trains pass through very quickly with big gaps in between. Give me that rather than constant road noise any day. Pandy is a wonderful site. We love it, especially Julie and Bill. 

Its all down to personal circumstances...Trains did not disturb us one bit that said we were not right in front of the track, at the furthest point away.
