Best yet

We booked as a spur of the moment break. Not to far but near the sea. This site came up with availability and so we booked a two night weekend break. We arrived late Friday afternoon and straight away were made to feel welcome, just a friendly wave from a warden but made a difference. We easily found a pitch and as a Motorhomer, quickly set up. Then a wander and a nosey around the site, beautifully kept and the facilities, oh my word, spotless, modern and with underfloor heating!!! Went into Sidmouth on the Saturday, lovely little seaside town. We took the bus and were grateful for advice of others on bus stops and timings . After a sausage sandwich we left on the Sunday, having had a brilliant break. We'll done all at Putts Corner, fully deserve the 5 star rating and we will be back for a longer stay.

Lovely site

This is our first visit to this site and despite the appalling weather we experienced, we really enjoyed it! The toilet block was immaculate with plenty of hot water in the showers. The staff were friendly and approachable and always willing to chat. Please bear in mind that Sidmouth itself is a 5 mile drive away ( Honiton is closer) but the bonus of this site is a great pub about 400 yds down the road which does great food! The simplest route to the pub is via the footpath going through the woods which comes out right opposite the pub itself! Definitely will go back

A credit to the wardens

This is a lovely site in an excellent location for visiting the area. There is a great ambience on the site that frankly is entirely down to the outstanding wardens. We have visited many Club sites and without doubt they are some of the very best wardens we have ever come across. They provide a warm welcome, are always chatty and friendly around the site and the site and facilities are spotless. Considering how busy sites have been this year this is really very much to their credit. Good pub down the road, the Hare and Hounds, but book. Some lovely places to visit within 20 miles or so, Beer is a particularly nice place to visit. The only negative as such, which is entirely outside the wardens control is that some pitches are tight and require very long cables and hosepipes to access the services. Why in this day and age and considering the cost of caravans are there so few fully serviced pitches, 16 serviced out of 117 pitches here, the Club are getting left behind in this regard.

Lovely quite site

Our 1st visit to this site. Such a lovely welcome from the wardens. Always chatty and friendly when we saw them around the site. A peaceful and quite site. We took the bus into Honiton £9.40 return for 2 adults. Hare and Hounds pub is just 5 minute walk from back of site. Had a fabulous Carvery on the Sunday, best we have ever had. Absolute must to book as very very busy, which is a good thing, shows how popular and good it is. When we asked to book on the Friday evening for Sunday Carvery it was already fully booked. We was very lucky to get a table as they keep a few tables back for walk ins. We are booked to go back next year for a little longer to explore more of the area.

Very Good site

Our 1st time here, but what a super site. Both couples who look after the site should be highly commended, they all do a great job and they worked very hard to make our stay such a pleasure. Clean, modern facilities, walk to the pub, what’s not to like! We will return. Thank you

Beautiful and Peaceful

We only stayed for a couple of nights. But well worth it. Very pleasant check in, most friendly. Nice layout , Pitches were mostly level. Two toilet areas which is handy. The one we used was always very clean. As always with the Club sites. Great Dog walking, through a beautiful wooded area. Running the entire length of the campsite. Another nice walk through the trees to the near by Pub. Most welcome. We will Return !!!!

Great site, good location for visiting Devon and Dorset

This was our first visit to this site, we originally booked 10 nights, but liked it so much, we extended our stay. The site is very clean, and well maintained, the facilities are good and the wardens friendly and helpful. We’ve already booked for next year.

First visit, most definitely coming back

This was our first visit to Putts Corner, location is perfect, warm, friendly, helpful staff, great for visiting coastal areas and the pub a short walk from the sight is definitely worth a visit, we had a carvery and it was one of the best we have had in a very long time The site was spotlessly clean but the lower part of the park is quite shaded in the tree's so if you want a bit of sunshine pitch towards the top end of the site, quiet and peaceful and the heated flooring in the lower toilet block was lovely too !!

Lovely little site

Stayed here 5 days ago. Lovely little wooded site. Spotlessly clean and we'll maintained shoer/toilet blocks. Wardens friendly and helpful. Good location for touring around the area. From Exeter and Honiton, and down to the coast from Exmouth to Lyme Regis. Quiet and peaceful definitely a site to recommend.

Pick your pitch carefully!

This site in such a fantastic place to explore the area - everywhere is just a 15/20 minute drive away. The site itself is up to CAMC standards however the layout is probably not our favourite. It is VERY foresty and so if you like a bit of sunshine then I suggest you pick your pitch very carefully as only a few see sunlight!
