Thoroughly enjoyed our 6 night stay. Ignore the negative comments, it’s a really good site. Approach is narrow, but as long as you position yourself sensibly on the road, take care, keep an eye open for the passing places and ignore satnav, it’s fine. The little village of Stoke Gabriel is a gem with the River Shack a great cafe within a beautiful setting. Village shop and post office is well stocked and the Church Inn serves a good pint. What is there not to like? Lots of places to visit without too much driving. The area caters for those who like the throngs of tourists as well as the members who prefer their historic centres and beaches a lot quieter. Wardens work hard to keep the site immaculate and are very friendly. Will definitely return.
