Another pleasant stay.
Just back from our second weekend here. The wardens are great and very helpful. The site is near the A66 and there is some road noise if you are at the very top. The site is on a slope and you need some wedges etc but that is easily sorted. Site is handy for Richmond, Barnard Castle or even a run to Penrith. Near the site are two great farm shops with lots of animals to see.
We are booked again for Easter next year 🙂
