Lovely area
Stayed for 4 nights, really lovely wardens who were friendly and informative. Beautiful views across the valley. Yes, the traffic is noisy but the site more than makes up for this. Richmond is a lovely town, and the castle is worth a visit, for the views alone. Also visited Firkin Hall which is very pretty. Definitely a site worth more than just a stop over.
