We only stayed a couple of nights to break our journey and it was wet and misty however we were well welcomed at reception and the views would have been nice if we could have seen them. Yes, you can hear the traffic on the dual carriageway, but it didn't bother us. However, this would not be the site for us if we were staying longer because the placing of the pegs that you have to park between would not leave enough room to erect a drive away awning, most drive away awnings would encroach on the grass boundary. Although they say Motorhome friendly and it does have a good service point, I think this pitching is really geared to caravaners, unless you have no need to erect an awning. Also, you can get a bus into Richmond but coming back it stops on the wrong side of the dual carriageway, which you would have to be careful to cross, particularly if like us your not as quick as you used to be!
