What a shameful review. It is clearly misguided and sadly the writer does not know what he is talking about. Dealing first with the shop - this is not run by the CAMC it is a personal choice for the wardens choose to provide a service for members. They use their days off and personal travelling expenses to stock the shop in the interest of helping the members. The shop at Rookesbury is one of the best on the network. Regarding the burger van it is personal choice, however this particular van sources all of his burgers and meat from an award winning butchers in the meon valley. Rookesbury do provide a huge dog free space for members which includes a boules area, football pitch, volley ball area, children's play area and a huge space of a bio diversity garden up the hill with a beautiful bench at the top for members to enjoy, that area is bigger than the dedicated dog exercise field. The dog exercise area gains rave reviews from many members.
The site is by no means shabby, so very sad that you felt the need to write such a poor review. Still you are not obliged to return. Perhaps a trip to supersavers is the order of the day.
