Overnight stay

We overnighted here on our way further north. We were given pitch no.1 which was immediately adjacent to the area where building work was being carried out to install chalets etc. We had no problems with noise or dust and ultimately this work will finish for the benefit of the whole site. The lady on the reception desk was very charming and helpful. The pitches are of adequate size and generally consist of a concrete strip with a gravel surround. The site was well laid out and was quite full at the time we were there. The shower and toilet facilities were very modern and perfectly clean. I'm not sure about bus services locally but if you were thinking of a prolonged stay you would obviously find these things out. The lady on reception told us about a walk across the fields to a beautiful church and superb pub/restaurant at Peover (pronounced Peever) which will take about 35/40 minutes, possibly less. If raining take appropriate footwear, but well worth the visit. Overall. I would recommend this site. .
