Peaceful
The Wardens on this site are very friendly and could not be more helpful. The site is well located for trips out to a variety of interesting activities and places to visit. The site was relatively quiet when we arrived but soon became pretty busy come the weekend. The pitches are varied, some grass, some hard standing. Many of the pitches however appeared to be quite small, especially if you arrive with a twin axle van. That said, all were well maintained and the top grassed area was ideal for us. The toilet block was very clean and modern, but is located at the entrance to the site. Fine if you are on the top level, but a trek if you are at the bottom of the site. Worth considering if you don't want a walk. Dog owners will be pleased to note a lovely track immediately alongside the entrance to the site, perfect for letting them off the lead for a run. The issue of a sign outside the site seems to be an anomaly, there was one there when we visited last week!!!!!
