as the name suggests, the site is on a hillside. There is only one facilities block at the top of the site but plenty of water points mean you don't have to drag water far. Facilities were spotless. Operating an individual band system given on arrival. Excellent and worked well. We've experienced all systems and personally think this works best. Wardens run a very well stocked shop which is appreciated. Pitches are in groups in clearings in the trees. They do tend to be cramped. Glad we have a mover. No sign of a childrens playground. Nowhere much to play. The dog walk is a public footpath and dogs must be lead walked. Niggly negatives aside, its a nice little site and we'd definitely stay again.
