We spent a week at this lovely site – even after visiting a few times we still enjoy our visits, Wardens Alan and Karen and Sara and Simon are perfect hosts and always working hard to ensure that all campers had a pleasant stay and were happy to chat and help when needed. They keep the site maintained to a very high standard and the facilities are always clean. Our visit coincided with the fast pace of the coronavirus pandemic and sadly we had to leave before the end of our planned stay as the all the caravan club sites were closed at short notice. Karen, Alan, Sara and Simon worked tirelessly to make sure the facilities, door handles, taps etc were cleaned and wiped regularly throughout the day. The Wanderer restaurant was closed due to the coronavirus restrictions but a limited take away was available at the weekends – credit to the staff for their efforts. Nice walk into Cromer – always keeping ourselves at a ‘socially acceptable distance’ we enjoyed a windy walk along the beach and pier and a visit to Sheringham. During these strange unknown times its strange not to visit the local cafes and restaurants. Finally, I can’t stress enough our thanks to Wardens Alan and Karen and Sara and Simon who worked so hard with the coronavirus situation changing what seemed like every hour and they always had a smile and just got on with things.
