It was a long way to go from the South, but worth every moment. The drive through Cairn O' Mount was very cloudy so views were non existent. The way back was very different. Having arrived the wardens (not the regular ones) were most friendly and helpful, which is valuable to a lone traveller! It is a lovely site, though beware of the traffic noise. There is so much to see and plenty of walking. The views are glorious from anywhere and the driving in Scotland is still a "doddle". Even in a motorhome. If I am ever in the vicinity again, I would return without hesitation. It was a carefully planned trip staying in different places and Silverbank was the highlight.
showers
the site is very good, clean shower block etc. but is 3 showers per gender sufficient for over 60 pitches? we did not think so in the morning we had to queue up to use them. Apart from that a very good site.
Brilliant site
Perfect site with all amenities close to hand, on site facilities were excellent, couldn't ask for more. We will be back.
Silverbank
Very well kept level site, friendly and helpful wardens, easy access from main road yet quiet. Close to town center, fuel and supermarket less then half a mile, good quality eateries in locality, many interesting things to do/places to visit. Highly recommended.
Stay at Silverbank
Excellent site with good location for shops, NTS sites and river walks.
Like other Caravan Club sites needs a little music in the toilet block!!!
Wardens great and very helpful.
Very much enjoyed our stay.

Excellent Site
Have used this site on numerous occasions in 2016.
Tony & Elaine are the perfect hosts/wardens taking time to chat whilst keep the site 'spik & span' as it always has been during all of our visits.
The two of them are hard working tidying up as they walk about doing other jobs & working long hours.
Nothing is any problem to either of them.
There is a bit of noise from the traffic but you soon get used to it.
Convenient for grocery shopping with Morrison's & Tesco's within walking distance.
Ideal for with a dog lovers as there are numerous woodland walks.

Nice quiet break
Good location. Banchory has everything we needed. The site is small, clean and friendly however, the shower block is a little tired and outdated.
Great site
As usual the site was well maintained, facilities were spotless, wardens are very helpful, always a good stay
Good site- getting better?
Very friendly site close to Banchory and supermarkets for re-stocking the larder. Trouble is, the facilities are a bit limited and in need of an update. Please give us more showers.....
Tired facilities
Love the site and the area staff very good big down side is the toilet block. I wrote last year that the showers and toilets were inadequate and very tired and this year they are the same. Club needs to start improving some of the older facilities. At busy times 3 showers and toilets are not enough. The showers seem to have a mixture of shower heads and not a great pressure. Tiling grouting is showing its age. However cannot fault staff for cleanliness. Fantastic location even with the road noise.
