Site no6 on our Scottish tour

Arrived on the 12th July for 5 nights this is our 6th site on our Scottish tour. The site is well kept and toilet block was very clean. There is a little noise from the nearby A93 but most of the noise was coming from the rear of the site with the construction of the new Deeside Railway this will be going on until the end of July. The site has good wfi the mobile signal is hit miss depending on where you are. Tesco is 5 minute walk from the sitet if you turn right and Morrisons is a 5 minute walk if you turn left out of the site. There are plenty of walks for dog walkers it takes a about 40 minutes to walk to the Deeside Railway from the site.

...site number 2 in Scotland

Silverbank was our second site in our tour of Scotland and we found it superb. Well kept site spotlessly clean and the wardens were so friendly and helpful. The nearby walk along the Dee is a must and the site is an easy and enjoyable stroll into Banchory. Nearby bus stop had good service which we used to go to Braemer. So much to see and do that I think we will be paying a return visit.

Good base site for Aberdeenshire

Good hardstanding pitches though a bit open plan for our liking - you can see the whole site from all pitches. Friendly wardens, clean toilet blocks and good WiFi reception. Some road noise and noise from lumber yard next door but not too intrusive. Dog walk on site is fine for night time necessities but the short path round the side of the site to the Deeside Way opens up a wider range of walks. Plenty of other walks within a short drive of the site too. Tesco is literally 5 min walk across the road which is very handy but Aberdeen is only half an hour away which would be handy if you are staying here longer. Banchory is a quiet little village with a few shops and restaurants should you want them.

Few nights away

Just spent the weekend here just to get a few nights away and the site was just perfect. All the facilities were very clean and well looked after as was the whole site. Great walk into to Banchory and great pubs to!

A short break

Excellent holiday site very close to town and country alike. We stayed there from 20.05.15. The staff were keeping the whole area neat and tidy and were very friendly always spoke if you were passing. A nice place to relax or visit the many attractions in the area.

Great Site

Stayed here for 10 nights great site good location plenty of walks for the dogs.great dog field on site. Wardens hard working and friendly without being intrusive. Only negative as previously stated not enough showers for when the site is at capacity I am sure an upgrade on the facilities can only enhance this site

One of my new favourites!

We have just spent 4 nights at this site with our 2 labs. Great site, and immaculately keep by the 2 friendly wardens. The site is ideal for dog owners with lots of river walks on the doorstep along with a handy little dog field onsite. An easy walk into the village. Tescos only 5mins away. Only criticism would be only 3 showers in the ladies for over 60 pitches but just adjusted the time of going to 'off peak' to avoid the queue. Will definitely be back as now on my list of favourites!

wonderfull surprise

We stayed at this site over Easter , the weather was fantastic, the wardens did a fabulous job the site is spotless,it sits nestled next to the river Dee with sounds of birds singing in the morning and the sky's putting on a display at night of the cosmos this place is fab. We visited Balmoral and had tea how many can say that !! Aberdeen was close by with many things to see and do the maritime museum makes the best sandwiches I've ever tasted cheese ham and pineapple lovely visit footdee with its quaint fisherman cottages or just sit and watch massive ships roll past. We went for a walk in the cairngorms it was fantastic the beauty is unsurpassed I shall definitely be coming back again to this wonderfull very surprising site .

We love Silverbank

Great wardens who are very friendly and helpful. The facilities are immaculately maintained though a little tired now.  Very peaceful  and there are beautiful riverside walks directly from the site. Shopping within walking distance.
