Crowded Site in Regimented Rows
Unfortunately we did not like this site. The pitches are on compacted shingle, very close to each other in regimented lines, separated only by narrow rows of brick bordering the shingle. We were never sure if these were meant to be paths or not, but there was a constant flow of people to and fro right past our windows. The facilities are accessed by a key (deposit taken) and we found the staff officious rather than friendly. The location however, is quite good. It is right on the beach, and Skegness and Ingolmells are both walkable along the prom, or beach. There is a handy pub, with decent food, on the front, just outside the gate.
