We stayed here in early November 2015 for one week. I had been a little concerned about the hard standing pitches as they looked like a car park in the site 360 but found our pitch large with plenty of room for the awning and car. Very flat and base gave a good hold for the pegs. Strict rule is rear offside to the peg so you do not look directly at the caravan opposite. Site was busy although no more bookings were being taken for grass pitches. Whilst we were there these were dug up ready for re turfing which apparently is done every year. The site shower block was very modern and kept spotlessly clean. The touring pitches are attached to a large park home/static caravan park which is a top end site kept in immaculate order with very well spaced large units, flower beds, water features and very neatly trimmed grass. All the staff were very professional, proud of the site and welcoming. You are given keys for the shower block and for the entrance gate and gate that opens directly onto the promenade. A great site for an Autumn/Winter/Spring break but as we are retired we would not visit this area in the Summer when the area would be best suited for families IMHO. If you like to stay on site and sit outside your caravan all day this is probably not for you but if you like going out in the car or walking or cycling this is an excellent location.
