This was our first visit to a Volunteer run site. It was their last week open and the weather could not have been worse with heavy rain most days. However the wardens worked hard and unlike some conventional sites managed to keep the office open all day! They held a Macmillan Afternoon tea which was even attended by ladies from the village which shows what a good relationship they have built up with the village. It is only a pity that the Club do not value this site enough to make some improvements especially the site road which has become a series of potholes. We hope to visit again and maybe the Club will consider investing some money in the site.
