The site is well maintained and the wardens are very friendly. It is spoilt however by the noise which guarantees a lack of sleep. We were first woken at 2.45am by the local farmer driving his noisy quad bike along the track which runs just a few yards from the back of our pitch. At 5am the local industrial unit came to life. Crash, bang, wallop - like they were dropping loads of corrugated iron from a great height. Fork trucks to and fro, reversing horns at full blast and heavy trucks coming and going. Quad bike man returned for a couple more passes at 5.30 and 6.30 to add to the din. Sadly this will be our first and last visit to this site. No fault of the site staff as there is nothing they can do about it.
