Lovely site in a great location

We had a week here on the hard standing area and enjoyed some fantastic days out. It was in a great location to access the whole island. The pub in the local village, The Pointer, is well worth a visit and is VERY dog friendly so suited us to a tee. The site is divided into two main areas. Next time, if dry, we would probably choose a grass pitch as this area felt better than the rows of gravel pitches. The facilities were clean. If the site was full I am not sure how they would cope with the size of the site but this wasn’t an issue when we were there. The wardens were welcoming and friendly. The one advice I would have is don’t choose pitch 144. It has lots of passing walkers and seemed to be an area where people came to let their dogs do their business. Plus people walked over the corner of our pitch all the time. Wardens weren’t interested when I reported it and suggested a hedge be grown there to prevent this. All in all a great site if you choose the right pitch!
