Lovely site

Had a wonderful time, weather wasn't that good (what do you expect in England) the site itself is beautiful very clean , wardens lovely very friendly. There is not actually a outdoor play area for children, but located on the side of the site is a playground. The site is ideally located to visit southport and funfair. Morrisons store also within walking distance. Would recommend a visit to Windmill farm if you have young children.

Fantastic Site In Southport

This is one of the cleanest and well organised sites I have ever been to. Booking in is slick with plenty of information if you haven't been before. The site is quiet although only a 10 minute walk to the Town Centre. The toilet and shower block facilities are exceptional catering for all our needs. The staff are friendly and helpful. What more can I say!

victorian beauty

This was our first visit to this site, usual high club standards.the town is absolutely beautiful in all its Victorian splendour. The main thoroughfare is Lord street,a big wide road with beautiful manicured gardens on one side. The sea front seems to go on for miles, there's something for everybody here, from young to the older generation,a visit to Liverpools a must,a real vibrant city with a tour around the Albert Dock a delight. We had a wonderful 6 nights here in the late winter sunshine, will definitely be visiting again.

First visit to Southport

This was our first visit to Southport, we managed to get to the site without too much drama, the site was pleasant and welcoming, only half of the site was open due to the time of our visit. We got pitched up next to the toilet block and soon found our way around. There is a lovely big park right next to the site which is ideal for walking dogs round, also straight outside the site are the sand dunes with walks on. I was a little disappointed with Southport itself, I was expecting good sandy beaches, but ended up going down to Crosby sands to get that. The walk down by the lake was very enjoyable, and the town itself was pleasant, but would I come back to the area, I'm afraid I don't think I would. The site was up the usual high standards but the overall area let it down for me, each to their own I suppose.

Southport in the Snow

Not a good start to our journey to Southport as it was snowing, but the closer we got the snow disappeared. After that the weather was fine. The site is very convenient for the town and also the outlying area. We had a pleasant stroll along the sea front in Crosby whilst viewing the "Gormleys". The site had an issue with the shower block, cold water & blocked drains, during our visit, but these were soon rectified. All in all a very pleasing first visit and we would definitely visit again.

Great Location

Stayed for a weekend in early March with our 2 little grand-daughters in our motorhome. A nice experience right from our arrival with a nice cheery welcome and helpful choice of pitches. Surprised as to how busy it was at this time of year but there was no problems other than some traffic noise from the coastal road nearby. The location was perfect for us as we were cycling during the day on the numerous routes and walking into town for a meal in the evening. It was our 2nd time at this site and will not be our last ! The facilities were first class and the cleanliness was second to none.

Excellent site for stroll to Southport

Stopped at this site just for the weekend. Very friendly welcome from wardens, it is immaculately kept, toilets have recently been refurbished and are very clean, never had to que for a shower.  Pitches are all spacious and level. Sand dunes are just across the road from the site, excellent for wearing the dog out, although Southport doesn't appear to be very dog friendly, which you sort of expect in a seaside town. There is no childrens play area on site, but there is one in the park behind, which is accessible via a gate half way down the site.  Turn left and the path takes you to Southport Centre in about 10-15 mins, a much better walk than down the Road. Love this site couldnt be better placed for Southport and its amenities.

Riollerteam 2

We made another visit to this site. This is one of our favourite sites. It is well located for both the shops/ cafes and beach. The site is kelp very clean and the facilities are excellent. The only down sound is the current state of the Esplanade. No one seems to bother about the increasing amounts of litter and the lack of street lighting on the road. I have raised this as a complaint with Sefton Council and would encourage other users of the site to also raise a complaint with the Council.
