Excellent last minute winter break
A last minute get away as sun was forecast! Lovely site, immaculately clean, well laid out and very helpful and friendly wardens. Having never been to Southport and on the recommendation of Stuart Maconie, I decided to visit. I was more than pleasantly surprised. Great town, easy walk in from the site, the Egypt collection in the Atkinson museum was a great surprise. Tap and Bottles little real ale shop and bar in Cambridge Walks is fab as it the retro shop (any amount of Bakelite telephones!) Will be back!
Fabulous
This site is so well situated and has everything for everyone young and old. Have never used such an immaculately clean toilet block. Highly recommended, will definitely return.

Southport caravan club
Stayed on this site was fantastic ,had a problem with van and the wardens was fantastic could not praise them enough going back soon
Brill site
Stopped for just one night. Wardens were super helpful after our fridge kept tripping off the electricity. Quiet close enough to town which has some great shops. Bang on the sea front and a great path to go for a nice walk or in my case run. Will definitely be back to explore southport more.
Outstanding
Just returned from another stay at the brilliant site. 2015 was our first year in our motorhome and we stayed at southport a lot, we've booked lots of dates this year as well. The facilities are spotless the site is so well run for dog walkers the park is next door and the beach just a few minutes walk. You are near the shops and town but still quiet enough to feel like you are in the country or on a beach. The wardens last year were so nice and helpful as are the new ones for this year. My wife is disabled and the facilities are excellent as is access around the site. This has to be one of the best sites in the north of England.
Returning Visit
This site is central for all things, seaside, shopping, theatre, cinema etc. What is there to dislike? The wardens are friendly, hard working, clearly like their work and keep a tidy immaculate site. We have visited many times and enjoy the area, the people and the facilities out of season. We do not enjoy seeing members of a members only site not appreciating what is around them, speeding round the site in cars and actively allowing their dogs to foul members pitches. That aside, we had an enjoyable New Year stay and will return again soon. Some of the pitches in the larger area were flooded, but this to be expected on a flood plain, these were clearly marked to avoid and there remained plenty of other pitches to choose from so no issues there. Thank you to all the staff at this site for their hard work at keeping an immaculate site.

Saw the New Year in, in lovely surroundings!
This was our very first trip, in our very first van and we had a great time at Southport Site. Everyone was very friendly and helpful, the facilities were spotless and the location was ideal for long walks on the beach and the pier, as well as being an easy stroll into town.
Having a Morrison's supermarket a few hundred metres away was handy too. Thanks to the wardens for running such an efficient operation!
Brilliant Site
We stayed over Christmas and New Year, lovely site cannot pick any faults. This is one of the best sites we have stayed on. Wardens are fantastic very helpful. The site is ideally located for Southport, will be booking again for next Christmas.

Great Time at Xmas
We had a great time our 1st Xmas away with the dog. Really clean Site all over. Not far from town centre or the beach for the dog. We're going again. Brilliant
