This site is excellent in so many ways. Everything is fresh, clean, and modern, including the 2 heated shower blocks. The site staff were spot on with their instant advice, and the info room had everything we needed to know. Just 10-15 minutes walking to Lord St, train and bus services typical every 15-20 minutes, perfect. So handy for Southport centre and further afield, Liverpool, Crosby for Antony Gormley's 'Iron men', so lots to see and do. And eateries - where to start: The Swan - amazing fish and chip shop, Lucy's, lovely cafe/restaurant, Leo's for a warm double brandy and splash at £3.50, and fun people watching.
