This is a really nice site, well looked after but we did have our fair share of wind and rain which seemed to be as it was on the beacon. I would just like to let dog owners know to beware of ticks, we did not have our dog with us as he passed a few weeks before we had our holiday so we do know what ticks are. However we did leave a woolen picnic blanket in the awning one night without a ground sheet down and when we went to use it the next day we found quite a few dead ticks which we had to pick off with tweezers, they obviously failed to get any blood out of it. This by no way suggests it is the sites fault as the grass was kept well every day. I hope this warning is taken in good faith as intented so dog owners are aware to check their dogs regulary.
